The Castle Liaison Group was formed to improve information and facilities for visitors to the Castle. Members of the Group have been drawn from Berkhamsted Town Council (chair), English Heritage, Dacorum Borough Council Conservation Office, Berkhamsted Community Partnership, Berkhamsted Citizens Association, Berkhamsted Archaeological Society and Berkhamsted Local History & Museum Society. Registered Museum service for Dacorum, now Accredited Museum Status. Collecting and recording the history of the Borough, interpreting and displaying collections to encourage interest and appreciation of the heritage of Dacorum.

Berkhamsted Town Council

This website, developed by Peter Such (a former Independent Councillor and Town Mayor) has some interesting information about the history of Berkhamsted. 

Graham Greene Birthplace Trust

The Trust was established in September 1997 to promote the appreciation and study of the works of Graham Greene. There is an award scheme, a reading circle, a quarterly newsletter and a Trail leaflet. Don’t miss the Annual Festival (Sep-Oct). 

Berkhamsted Film Society

Berkhamsted Film Society was started in 1967 by a group of cine enthusiasts in the Berkhamsted area. It has been thriving ever since, with a steady membership even in recent years as high as 250.

The BCP is community based and driven, with a wide membership bringing together the invaluable expertise and knowledge of a broad range of individuals active within the community. 

Berkhamsted Arts Trust

Berkhamsted Arts Trust was formed to encourage and promote the arts in Berkhamsted. It comprises over twenty Arts Organisations based in Berkhamsted which promote arts events open to members of the public.

St Lawrence Church Nettleden

The beautiful church of St Lawrence in Nettleden has a most interesting history with links to the Ashridge estate. The current building dates back to 1470 and is part of the Berkhamsted ministry.
